Addressing hearing loss requires coordinated, system-wide policy action. Despite clear evidence of its health, social, and economic impact, access to hearing care remains uneven across Europe, and uptake of treatment still falls short of need.​

Strengthening hearing care policy means taking action across the full care pathway – from early screening and timely referral, to sustainable reimbursement models and stronger integration of hearing care into healthy ageing and dementia prevention strategies.​
